Dornex – Fire Prevention

Fire prevention is our specialty. We develop and provide fire protection products to make sure buildings are as fireproof as possible.
Our products have been developed to limit fire and smoke according to the 30, 60, 90 and 120 minute standards.

You can use our products for fire resistant applications such as:

  • Closing gaps and seams
  • Heat insulation (around ditches, door seams and hinges)
  • Cut off ducts (pipes, electricity cables)
  • Cooling (eg steel and aluminum profiles)
  • Blocking fire (with calcium silicate and magnesium oxide board)
  • Fireproof glazing

Fiboard M

Fiboard M is a non-combustible board based on magnesium oxide. The material is weather- and moisture resistant and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. When the board comes into contact with moisture, it will regain its original thickness after drying, without any effect on its long-term performance. Fiboard M is easily worked and can be cut, drilled, etc. using normal tools.
