Fiboard M


Product Description

Fiboard M is a non-combustible board based on magnesium oxide. The material is weather- and moisture resistant and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. When the board comes into contact with moisture, it will regain its original thickness after drying, without any effect on its long-term performance. Fiboard M is easily worked and can be cut, drilled etc. using normal tools.

Test Certificate

Fiboard M is an A1 non-combustible board in accordance with DIN 4102.
Tested in accordance with EN 13501-1.

Application

Fiboard® M is well used in a wide range of applications, for example, partition wall, floor and ceiling element for residential and commercial buildings like hotel, hospital, airport, subway station, gymnasium, library, museum, theatre, factory building, IT-rooms. Fiboard® M can be used to protect steel construction, ventilation ducts as well as electric installations.

Storage, processing and transport

Fiboard® M must be stored in a covered and dry area. During handling and processing the wearing of protective gloves is recommended. When Fiboard® M gets wet, it must be dried before being affixed. The boards should always be stored on a flat surface.

Note

Please be aware of the following:

• When Fiboard M is used for cooling in a steel or aluminium profile, the profiles must be protected against corrosion.
