Kerafix 2000 has a chemically combined base of calcium-magnesium-silicate and provides excellent thermal and mechanical stability up to a temperature of 1.100°C. The material is free of ceramic fibres and can be used as thermal insulation in a wide range of applications, particularly in fire protection.

Glazing tape Kerafix 2000 is very suitable for the following applications:
- Fire resistant glazing
- Industrial and domestic appliance gasketing
- Expansion joints
- Thickness: 3-4-5-6-8-10 mm
- Width: 9-12-15-20-23-25 mm
The glazing tape is available with a self-adhesive layer.
